76th Republic Day of India : Flag Unfurling Ceremony at India House in Bellevue

On the occasion of 76th Republic Day of India, Consulate General of India in Seattle hosted the Flag Unfurling Ceremony at India House.

A large number of Indian community members from the Greater Seattle Area attended the celebrations. Mayor of Bellevue, Ms. Lynn Robinson, along with Washington State Senator Vandana Slatter addressed the audience and recalled the bonds of friendship between India and the USA. Consul General read out exceptions of the Hon'ble President of India's address to the nation. Cultural performances, including rendering of patriotic songs were deeply appreciated by participating members of the Indian community.
