Consul General engaged with leadership of the Oregon State University and Portland city, and interacted with Indian community organisations based in Oregon.

* Useful discussions on deepening faculty and student exchanges with Dr. Jayathi Murthy, President of Oregon State University.

* Felicitated Mr. Sameer Kanal, City Council Member and the first Indian-American elected official in the Portland City Council

* Good exchange of perspectives with Padmashri Ajay Bhatt, during a site visit to Intel facilities in Portland.

* Thank Indian Culture Association (ICA) Portland for their warm welcome reception and extend full support to them on the IDY 2025 preparations ahead.
