The Consulate General of India in Seattle was pleased to welcome Mr. Thomas Hitoshi Pruiksma, a Seattle resident and recipient of the 2025 Ancient Tamil Literature Promotion Award, at the Consulate.

The Consul General congratulated him on his translation of the Tamil masterpiece Tiruvalluvar’s Tirukkural and on his publication “Give, Eat and Live: Poems of Avvaiyar,” also translated from Tamil.
