OCI Card Updation (Reissuance of OCI Cards Discontinued)

The provision for reissuance of Physical OCI Cards has been discontinued. Consequently, the earlier requirement of mandatory OCI Card reissuance upon issuance of a new passport is no longer applicable.

OCI Cardholders are now required to update their latest passport particulars on the OCI Portal within 3 months of passport renewal.

Applicants are advised to ensure that their email address registered on the OCI Portal is current before initiating the updation process. If you wish to update your registered email address, please refer to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for Email Address Updation.
