At the invitation of XP Division of Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, a delegation of social media influencers and content creators from USA visited India from 26 September – 5 October 2024. Consulate General of India in Seattle recommended two leading lights of Seattle: Ace Photographer Tim Durkan and Leading Journalist Linda Lowry, Seattle Magazine to participate in the program.
In the two weeks spent in India, they immersed themselves in India’s vibrant culture, rich history, and breathtaking landscapes. From the bustling streets of Delhi to the serene backwaters of Kerala, and the historic wonders of Telangana to the spiritual heart of Uttar Pradesh, every moment was a feast for their senses.
Linda and Tim will share their experiences, capturing the beauty and diversity of India at the opening of the India Culture Week on November 12th at 4:30 pm at the Piggot Auditorium of the Seattle University. It features an opening exhibit titled “India Through Tim’s Eyes” showcasing some of the images from across India’s landscape captured by the photographic lens of Tim Durkan.
