1.	Miscellaneous Application (Click Here) (Please fill out, Print, and sign the Miscellaneous Application, and bring it to the consulate along with the supporting documents.)
2.	Original notarized Will document (Will made by applicant)
3.	Please Bring an extra copy of Will for Consulate Record.(Make the copy only after Notraization is done)
4.	Original and Copy of: Passport and Visa and Address Proof of USA
5.	Fees : $20 and $2 (Please issue 2 Separate Cashier’s Checks/Money Orders) Payee Name “Consulate General of India, Seattle” Note: Personal Checks/Cash/Credit Cards/Debit Cards are not accepted.

How to get my Power of Attorney document attested by the Consulate General of India in Seattle?

Stage 1 – Submission

Follow the 2 steps mentioned above to submit the required documents to VFS Global (either in person or by mail).

Stage 2 – VFS Review

VFS Global reviews the documents. If the application is complete, VFS forwards the file to the Consulate.

(Note: If any documents are missing, VFS Global will notify the applicant by email. The applicant must submit the requested documents within 21 business days. Failure to do so will result in rejection of the application.)

Stage 3 – Consulate Processing

The Consulate verifies the application, processes it, and returns it to VFS Global.

Stage 4 – Closure

VFS Global closes the application and dispatches the processed documents to the applicant.
