Consul General hosted the Diwali festive celebration at his residence in Bellevue on 2nd November 2024 over a dinner reception.

Senior dignitaries from Washington State, including Lieutenant Governor Denny Heck, Outgoing Commander of the I Corps at JBLM Lieutenant General Brunson, and Incoming Commander of the I Corps Lt. General Mcfarland, along with Mayor Salim Nice of Mercer Island and Mayor Dana Ralph Kent and several other Indian American community leaders from the Greater Seattle area joined in the celebrations.

The evening featured a ceremonial lighting of the traditional Indian lamp, along with firecrackers and festivities.
