As part of its continuing outreach, Indian Consulate engaged with the leadership of Idaho State on 14-15 November 2024.

- Meeting with Mr. Garrett Lofto, CEO Simplot & Alex LaBeau, President, Idaho Association of Commerce and Industries (15 November 2024, Boise)

It may be noted that Idaho is US’s 14th largest state by area with a population of nearly 1.8 million and economy centered around industries like manufacturing, agriculture, mining, forestry and tourism. Leading companies from Idaho, with significant investments in India include, Micron Technologies- who are an industry leader in memory and storage solutions and Simplot – who are a leading global agricultural and food company. Both Micron and Simplot have recently commenced operations at their respective facilities in Gujarat.
