Diwali Celebrations at India House (18 October 2025)

The Consulate General of India in Seattle celebrated Diwali at India House, Bellevue on 18 October 2025, marking the occasion with warmth, cultural spirit, and community participation. The event was graced by the distinguished presence of U.S. Congresswoman Kim Schrier and Washington State Senators Manka Dhingra and Vandana Slatter, whose support and goodwill added to the significance of the celebration.

The Consulate was also honoured to welcome nine Mayors from across the region — Seattle (Bruce Harrell), Bellevue (Lynne Robinson), Auburn (Nancy Backus), Mercer Island (Salim Nice), Kent (Dana Ralph), Medina (Jessica Rossman), Tukwila (Thomas McLeod), Sammamish (Karen Howe), and Normandy Park (Eric Zimmerman) — along with Mr. Dow Constantine, CEO of Seattle Sound Transit, and Mr. Howard Wright, CEO of SHG.

The Consulate thanks all dignitaries and leaders of the Indian American community for their presence and continued support in making the Diwali celebrations a memorable success.
