The Consulate General of India in Seattle observed Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas with solemnity and respect, paying homage to Bhagwan Birsa Munda, a revered tribal icon and freedom fighter whose contributions to India’s independence and indigenous heritage continue to inspire generations.

Leaders from the Indian community offered heartfelt tributes during the commemoration held at the Consulate today.

The event also featured a special screening of “Lord Shri Jagannath’s Naba Kalebara,” attended by members of the Oriya community from the Greater Seattle area.
