The Consulate General of India expressed sincere appreciation to the Indian American community in Bismarck for hosting a warm and welcoming community reception on 27 February 2026.

The event was graciously attended by Hon’ble Michael Schmitz, Mayor of Bismarck, and the First Lady, Mrs. Janel Schmitz. The gathering reflected the strong bonds between the Indian diaspora and the local community, and highlighted the growing people-to-people ties between India and the State of North Dakota.
