#DilSeDiwali From North Dakota!

 A historic first at the Governor’s Residence in Bismarck, as Diwali was celebrated there for the very first time, bringing together Indian-American families and friends of India from across North Dakota!

Hon’ble Governor Kelly Armstrong, First Lady Kjersti Armstrong and Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring joined in the traditional Diya lighting ceremony.

Governor Armstrong warmly recognized the contributions of Indian-Americans across professions, particularly doctors for their lifesaving work and entrepreneurs for their contributions to North Dakota’s economy.

Thank Hon’ble Governor Kelly Armstrong and First Lady Kjersti Armstrong for opening the doors of the Governor’s Residence to Diwali celebrations for the very first time and extending a warm welcome to the Consulate and Indian-American community!
